Celestial Stories at Métis Crossing

Set under the vast Alberta sky, Métis Crossing invites you to explore a profound connection between the stars above and the stories passed down through generations. Join us for an immersive series of Astronomy Events that blend Métis cultural teachings with breathtaking night sky viewing, where science, story, and spirit converge.

Why the Sky Matters

For the Métis people, the night sky has always been more than stars—it is a map, a memory, and a mirror of our ancestors. Through celestial interpretation, we explore how our people connected with the cosmos, navigated the land, and found meaning in the heavens.

These events offer a chance to reconnect with the sky, with culture, and with yourself.
