Traditional Art Workshops

Rosary Workshop

Join us for a Rosary workshop at Métis Crossing, where participants learn about the history and significance of the Métis rosary, and also learn how to construct their own rosary using beads and other materials.

During the workshop, participants will learn about the cultural and spiritual significance of the Métis rosary as a traditional prayer tool, and the traditional materials used to make rosaries, such as porcupine quills, sweetgrass, and traditional beads made of bone or shell.

All materials required for the workshop will be supplied

Food & Beverage: Treat yourself to a tasty meal or refreshing drink at the on-site restaurant at the Cultural Gathering Centre.
