Traditional Leather Craft
Join our Traditional Teacher and Knowledge Holder for an immersive and hands-on workshop, leather craft. In this full day workshop, participants will learn the art of leatherworking, carving and stamping, while also gaining an understanding of the cultural significance of these techniques in Métis communities.
In this leather workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create two projects of their choice from a selection of options including a bookmark, keychain, or wristband.
Skill level beginner.
All materials required for the workshop will be supplied
Food & Beverage: Treat yourself to a tasty meal or refreshing drink at the on-site restaurant at the Cultural Gathering Centre.
