Educational Opportunities
Land based learning, it starts from the moment you arrive at Métis Crossing and step out onto the land. All activities have been created to foster a connection to the land, to encourage us to listen for the lessons it offers, to engage with all it has taught to those who came before us. These activities are rooted in Indigenous skills-sharing and knowledge-sharing practices that encourage learners to embrace a hands-on approach. This is how our Elders and knowledge keepers pass on their teachings and how we keep our knowledge and traditions alive.
Travel Trade
Métis Crossing is the first major Métis cultural interpretive centre in Alberta and is a premier centre for Alberta Métis cultural interpretation, education, gatherings, and business development. We work with travel trade operators across the world to ensure they have unique experiences to offer their customers and clients.
