Our Sky Watching Domes provide a unique opportunity to stargaze and marvel at the wonders of the night sky. With our diverse lodging choices, each visitor can find the perfect setting to create lasting memories in this enchanting place.

Sky Watching Domes

Sleep under the stars in our Sky Watching Domes, a luxury experience that blends comfort with Métis sky-based knowledge. Each dome features a transparent ceiling, heated concrete floors, a full bathroom, air conditioning, a kitchenette, and electricity.

With minimal light pollution in the region, you’ll have a clear view of the night sky, much like our Métis ancestors once did. The stars and constellations guided travel, told stories, and served as calendars for when to plant, hunt, and work the land. Staying in the domes offers a firsthand connection to this heritage.

Choose from Single Suites (sleeps 2) or Family Suites (sleeps up to 6). With minimal light pollution, you’ll witness the night sky as our ancestors once did, using stars as guides, calendars, and tools for storytelling.

The Lodge at Métis Crossing

The Lodge at Métis Crossing is a 40-room, boutique luxury lodge, located on historical Métis river lots. Whether you are travelling solo in search of some relaxation, with your family or friends, or celebrating a new love on your wedding day or honeymoon, there is a room meant for you at Métis Crossing. We offer a wide variety of suite options, including Family Suites, King Suites, Accessible Suites, and our Executive Suite.

The Lodge at Métis Crossing was created to immerse guests in this unique historical place amongst the land. With in-suite patios and decks, providing views of the North Saskatchewan River and across our 688-acre property. In addition to your own private decks and patio, guests of the lodge can relax and reconnect on our main-floor Bistro deck or our second-level lounge patio. Embrace your surroundings by enjoying a coffee or traditional land-to-table Indigenous cuisine, just steps from your room.

Trapper’s Tents

Looking for something in between camping and the lodge experience? Our Trapper’s Tents offer a rustic ‘glamping’ stay on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Each tent includes bunk beds, a wood heater, and space for up to four guests, perfect for families or friends seeking comfort with a traditional twist.

Set with views of the river, the Trapper’s Tents provide elevated amenities while keeping you close to nature. After a day exploring Métis Crossing, they’re the ideal way to relax, unwind, and connect with the land.
